I can tell him arms are getting stronger by the day. Just this week he started getting on all 4's and rocking. He can now hold himself up with him arms. This is major for Jackson! He is also trying to crawl on all 4's. Right now he is only army crawling but he sure is fast for the things he really wants. He loves all the things he is not supposed to have: remotes, phones, door stoppers.
As for his legs, I feel like the are about the same. He can stand, but for only a few seconds. We are going to see orthopedics next week. He may have to get leg braces. We are just not sure yet.
As for right now we are just going to keep praying and enjoy a not so mobile Jackson.

Sounds like he is improving! Woo hoo! Everyone always told me "Enjoy this time when she stays where you put her" and I always kind of rolled my eyes and didn't get it. Well now I do! hahaha It's a different world when they are on the move! But a fun stage too! Praying for little Jackson that his little chunka munka legs get stronger :)
My daughter never really crawled on all fours until she was 11 months old...up until then she did the "Marine Corps low crawl" :) She was also a super late walker...she didn't walk til almost 20 months! She is now 3 1/2 and is fine! She just had her own little timeline...as your baby does too!
My grandson did the Army crawl. He learned to crawl on all all fours and walked about a week later. All happened around his first birthday.
You don't know me, but I enjoy reading your blog. My granddaughter didn't put weight on her legs forever. She was 22 months old before she walked. She ran around on her knees for months. Your son will do fine. Just continue to love him and he will be running before your really ready.
My granddaughter didn't walk till she was 22 months. She didn't like to put weight on her legs. She could get around very fast by running on her knees. Jackson will be getting around before you know it. Keeps them babies longer when they don't walk.
I'm so glad he's doing better! That's fantastic.
