Christmas!

Ok, so I know its not really fun when you pick out your Christmas gifts but... at least you are getting what you want! Well this is what I want....


It is a digital manual and automatic camera.. So I can use it when I feel camera savvy I can try to figure out how to take good pictures or it can be used as a point and shoot camera! I am SUPER exited... I can NOT wait for Christmas!

Catherine... Can your handsome son to try out my camera? Id love to learn how to shoot with him ;)

Happy 50th post to me!!

Today James and I went shopping!

I bought lots of fun things!!! I was REALLY into the Christmas spirit today... I took down all of my fall/Thanksgiging stuff anf started to put out my Christmas stuff. YES... I LOVE Christmas! James insists that we buy a real Christmas tree this year (even tho I bought aVERY expensive fake one last year)! So, today we started off at Hobby Lobby and if you are a girl you know that is TROUBLE!
I collect snowmen so I bought 2 cute little snow men to go on the fire place mantle.. 2 snowmen ornament (James and I's first ornament together :) and some garlin to put on the buffet tabole next to the dinner table! Oh, how I love Hobby Lobby and James,being the great man he is went with me!!!!

After Hobby Lobby we headed to Walmart.. I needed to get stuff to make my dessert for tomorrow.. I am making a Banana Foster Pie.. It Looks SOOO yummy!! If it tastes as good as it looks I'll post the recipe! Well, at Walmart we needed to buy lishgt for our "real" Christmas tree so James and I headed to the Christmas section (bad idea!!!)...
We ened up buying this...

Ok so I always made fun of the people who had blow up thigns in their yard... but this one is SOOOO cute!!!!!!!!!! Just look at him.. I LOVE IT! We can not put him i the yard until tomorrow due to the deed restriction but I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!

Next, we went to Specs.. I had to get rum to put in my bananas fosters pie... Well when I walked in they asked me if I was over 21 (they asked James to)..We just looked at each other and laughed.. I told the last yes.... So that is why I have liquor in the picture below..

Grocery List!

Ok, so I have done the all time nerdiest thing ever!!

I had a grocery list that was sectioned off by items such as: drinks, bread, produce, breakfast ECT.
Well it was a great idea but it was still to hard to find stuff in the store.
Last weekend when James and I went shopping I made him stop so I could write down everything that was on every isle and let me tell you that NO easy task.(I am sure there is something somewhere that tells you this but I did it my self anyways!).
So today I made my list by what is on each isle. My list looks like this:

ECT you get the point ...This was I can write down whats on each isle so I DO NOT forget anything.. I am so bad at forgetting stuff! Yes, I am a MEGA nerd..but I LOVE MY LIST!!! Catherine you know your jealous! ;)

Christmas Spirit!

James and I went out to lunch today when we went shopping. There is so much Christmas stuff out and so many people shopping I am just WAY into the Christmas Spirit! I know its not even Thanksgiving, but .. I CANT NOT wait to put my Christmas stuff out!!! I must of told James that 30 times today!

2 funny things...

Today James and I went shopping and we had a blast!!

Funny thing #1.
Ok..so I have no kids... so I love to buy my dog clothes.. My mom told my Target has dog shirts in the dollar section so I could not resist... I bought Bella 5 new shirts!
and a SANTA'S BEARD!!!!!! OK THIS HAS THE BE THE FUNNEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN...

She was so mad I put that on her when we put her down she ran away from us and started crying! My poor baby dog! But its SOOOOOO funny!!!

Funny thing #2-
James' company CHRISTMAS party is at a fancy Chinese restaurant. Weird huh? What is even more strange .. you are supposed to dress up in "Asian themed" outfits..... whatever that means!!!

So I was racking my brain of what to wear.. I went shopping today and found this!
That was about as Asian as I could find!! I think I did pretty good!!! **Oh yeah keep in mind its a christmas party... BRRRRRR

9 month anniversary dinner!

Today is our 9 month anniversary dinner! I decided to try a new recipe and it was GREAT.. This is a must cook dish!!!

Buttery shrimp with Linguine

• 5 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley –I had to use dried..it’s all I had.
• 6 ounces or so of Linguine
  
• 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled, deveined

DIRECTIONS:

Prepare Linguine according to package directions, drain. Place butter, garlic, lemon juice, and parslet in a medium skillet. Cook uncovered over medium-high heat about 4 minutes, or until butter is melted. Add shrimp; stir to coat well. May season with Cajun seasoning to taste, if desired. Cook until shrimp turn pink and crul slightly. Don’t overcook. Remove from heat and let sit. You can either add the linguine into the shrimp mixture or you can serve seperately. I mixed it.

Mashed Potatoes with Bacon Flavor

INGREDIENTS:

• Red potatoes
• Sour cream
• Parsley
• Butter
• Bacos - Bacon Bits (optional but SOOO GOOD!)

DIRECTIONS:

Clean potatoes, cube, and boil until done. Add sour cream, butter, parsley, and mash them up. Sprinkle bacos if you want and enjoy. Man, that was easy.

This was SOOO easy and REALLY good! Happy 9 months to us!!!

Book Character Parade and Halloween!!

At school Friday was out famous book character parade! Let me tell you the kids were crazy but it was a blast! Catherine was not there :(..So I took pictures with her sub, Mrs. Core.
I was Junie B Jone is a party Animal, and I bet you can guess what she is!!!

Also, Jessica is a party pooper and she did not dress up!!!

After all the fun at school James and I went and grabbed a burger from burger tex.. Let me tell you that place is YUMMO!

After eating I put Bella in her Halloween outift and she was NOT happy! Bella was a lady bug.. It so was so funny when I put her hat on she would not move!!! Look how happy she is! :)
