Recipes...help

I am a recipe queen. I probably have 200 recipes. I RARELY cook the same things twice. BUT, I'm in a slump. I want some new recipes. I like to cook healthy. No fried foods, no batter. Does anyone have any great recipes to share?? P.S Hubby hates fish. :)

3.5 months!

This big girl will be 4 months on Valentines Day..can you believe it??

Yesterday James and I think we heard a little laugh. Its defiantly almost here. She also started doing what I call "sit ups" today. Hopefully more pictures to come! :)

Still just floating..

I am floating. I guess its to be expected. I love to be 3 steps ahead on my lesson plans and that is defiantly not the case!! I am just merely floating along. I guess its better to be floating then sinking right? My kids have no clue and I'm getting everything done, but it's weird..its not the old me. One of these days I am going to get ahead but for now.. I'm just floating.

I'm behind on taking pictures of Maddie. It makes me sad. I get home from work cook, shower, get ready for the next day and crash around 8:30. One of these days I will catch up...maybe not who knows. This weekend Josh and Cara are coming down and I WILL take pictures of Maddie and our friends.

I need to update Maddie's pictures. She is growing like a weed you know! She is now in all her 3 month clothes and even some 3-6 month clothes. I really need to buy her a jacket. Who knew it would be so cold??

I'm going to just keep floating right now.. Wanna float too? :)

3 months

I just realized I never posted Maddie's 3 month blog.

Maddie you are getting to be such a big girl. Here is what you are up too:
-Here are your stats: Head 15.75in (49%), Weights 14.14lbs (87%), Length 24.5in (86%).
-You are starting to recognize mommy and daddies voices!
-Ms. Marian and I are really working hard with you to have some tummy time but you still dont like it (you are up to 6-8 minutes now).
-You sleeping patterns have started to be all over the place. Sometimes you will sleep through the night sometimes you wont. (I blame it on your shots)
-We are starting to get into a routine since mommy has gone back to work. I still think its harder on me then you!
- You wear a size 2 diaper
- You are in 3 month clothes.
-You are eating 6 oz every 3 hours.
-Your favorite toy is your "happy bear"!!
-You love to "talk" to mommy on your way home from the babysitters.
-You have started to drool everywhere this month. Your favorite thing is to slime daddy! :)
-You love to put your hands in your mouth.
-You also will not take a paci. You will suck on anything but not a paci. (mommies hand, your carseat straps, your blankets, your hands, your clothes ect).
- Your hair still has a redish tint and you are starting to loose some more (boo).

Hard! (many ramblings)

• Going back to work is hard!!! Leaving Maddie was hard but everyone was right it got easier as the days went on. The hardest part of it all is that I wear so many hats now and its exhausting! Going from mom to teacher to wife.

• My class is CRAZY! When I left them they were well behaved and they knew what I expected of them. Now, they are crazy talkative maniacs. Its going to take weeks to whip them back into shape and its exhausting!

• I feel bad for James, because I come home play with Maddie, cook dinner, put her in bed and go to bed myself. I'm just THAT tired!!

• This has to get easier. I wont let my 5 year olds win!! They will follow my directions and start acting well again!!!!

• This little Princess below is why I haven't blogged. I am sleeping or playing with her!!!
  

There she is!!! 3 months old!!

• I am getting nervous about her head. It's FLAT! I don't want her to be in one of those cranial bands (the helmets). So, we are going to the doctor today to ask about it. She hates tummy time, but we are going to have to start doing more of it!!

• I forgot to mention..That little girl up there.. is sleeping 11 hours a night!! :)

Tomorrow is the day I have been dreading..

Tomorrow is the day I go back to work. I have been dreading it for weeks now. I am trying to be strong. I have only cried once today so far (its only 10 am!!). I keep telling myself I can do this. But, in all honesty I HAVE to do this. I have a contract with the school district. I HAVE to go back. I do not have any other options. Next year on the other hand, I have options. But, do I like to eat? Yes. Hum...How can I save a years salary in a few months lol.

I think the worst part about this is that someone else is going to be seeing Maddie's firsts. She is about to start laughing any day now...and I'm going to miss the first time she laughs (maybe not- I HOPE NOT!!!).

I go back to work and Maddie goes to the babysitter. I knew it was coming soon, but this soon! I have spend 13 wonderful weeks with her and I dont want it to end. I dont want to go back to work. DO I HAVE TO??????? ARG. Iv'e already cried once. There are many more tears to come. BOO!!!
