We got James ring!!!

Well let me first say diamond cutters international is an awesome place! We looked everywhere for James' wedding band. There was nothing he absolutely loved except for one ring. He tried it on a million times but it was to thin for his strong manly hands! At last ditch effort we went to DCI. We told the jeweler what we wanted and he said I'll make it happen. He made James a ring just like he wanted! I figured it was going to be VERY expensive but, it wasnt. It was about average of all the other jewlery places. All that matters is that he LOVES it!

I forgot to post about "our date". After my bridal pictures I wanted to go on a date with my honey because I was all dolled up ... James and I decided to go eat hibachi grill..Well we were having a GREAT time when I got a phone call from my mom... "Kellie... Can you and James come over after dinner, my car has a flat?". So, James and I eat dinner and go over to my moms house and we saw this:

It was REALLY flat!!!!!

Bridal pictures

I am so excited I decided to take bridal pictures. Yesterday was defiantly bridal day. I got up super early for me 7:30 and drove over to my moms house. My hair stylist met us at my moms house and she did my hair (shhhh). While she was doing my hair my mom ran to pick up my bridal bouquet ( my rea lbouquet is like 3 times bigger!). My bouquet looked really good BTW! :) After my hair was done my mom and I ran to the mall to get my make up done. An hour later we leave the mall and drive as fast as we could to Ashton Gardens to take pictures. We took pictures inside and out side.. It was hot , but not as hot as I thought it was going to be.

After pictures my mom and I were starving. We went and ate lunch a Papadaux and we took my flowers in with us..Then we went to return my dress to get it pressed and we took my flowers in with us...We also went to talk with the cake guy and we took my flowers in with us.. People were looking at me like I was crazing everywhere we went... I wanted to try and keep them lookinf good so I wasnt embarresed!!! By the end of the day my flowers still looked pretty good! Here they are at 8:00pm...

Today my mom , grandmother and I picked up my dress! YES!!!! I have it... Tomorrow is my bridal pictures so we had to run and pick it up. I am so lucky my grandmother has a Tahoe or we would of been out of luck! I took pictures of us putting it in the car.. Its in a bag hahahah so you cant see the REALY dress until after the wedding :)...





Today I also went and got my toes and nails done for my pictures tomorrow! I'm getting EXCITED!!!!

The UPS and Fed EX guys and I are becoming REALLY good friends... After I got home today I was sitting at my computer and I hear a DING DONG! Well.. I thought it was James so I RAN to the door and I have a HUGE box waiting for me.. I waved the the UPS guy and this is what was in that big box!!!!

YAY!! The rug that I registered for... I LOVE IT!!! Betsy got it for us and its super thick and nice! I know my last name doesnt start with an S yet.. BUT.. I had to put it out.. I LOVE IT!!!

Random Thoughts!!!

Today I have gotten a lot done!!!
-Went to Catherine's and gave her a gift
-Went and worked out
-Ran BACK to Hobby Lobby (5th time this week)
- I made the "reserved table" pictures frames.
- I made the "card basket"
-I am about to make the 120 wedding programs
-Cleaned the living room/ kitchen

Now for the random thoughts
- I have been finding little ant by my computer for the last 2 weeks. I have put out any killer and everything. One night I even had a little break down over ants!!! Well today I found out where the little boogers are living.. guess where................... IN MY KEY BOARD!!! Yes, I was very shocked too!!! I took my key board out side and gently pounded it on the concrete and blew it out with air..for the 2nd time...and I keep finding those boogers running out of my keyboard now as I type!!! So, I guess I am headed to Wal-Mart to buy a new keybaord! UGG stupid ants!!!!
- Oh also I have 97 candle holders in the deep freezer. I stuck them in there to get the candle wax out...Yes, amazing huh... If you have candle wax in a candle holder you want out.. Pop it in the freezer for about an hour and it comes right out...Well MOST of it comes out!!! I bought them from another bride for 30 bucks! I could not pass that up but it is a little annoying getting out the old wax.. Sometimes it sucks to be OCD!!!

1 month!!!

OMG.. 1 month!!!!!

I am starting to get nervous.. well not nervous.. but emotional.. Today my mom, grandmother and I went to my 1 month meeting at Ashton Gardens (james could not go). We picked the menu and its going to be yummy!!! We discussed just about everything!!! I took my grandmother over to the chapel and almost started to cry. I am going to be an emotional wreck that day and I really dont want to be- I dont want to mess up my make up!!! I am really going to try and relax that day..but... AF may be here :(...
There are still so may little things to do... Today we hit a wall.. I almost had a bridezilla moment too!!! I order our flower girl a sash at Alfred Algelo.. I ordered it at the end of May...My mom and I were driving by there today so we decided to stop in and see if it was in....BOY am I glad we did... First of all they said I NEVER ordered a sash!!! WTH... YES, I did... I HAVE the recipt...So I told them to look under my best friends name who is getting married in September.. Well the sash was under her name..The lady who took our order for SOME reason put it under her name so the sash is not supposed to be here until AUGUST!!!!! I almost came across the table and hit the woman when she told me that.. I didnt ...but I wanted to!!!!!! When we ordered it they said it would take 2 weeks.. not 2 months!!!! She said she was going to e-mail the manufactor today to see if they can rush it... SO... Tomorrow we will see what we are going to do about the sash.. if it is not going to be here in time... I guess my mom and I are going to have to make a sash! EKKKKKK

Lauren and my mom are coming over tomorrow to help me make wedding programs.. We are set out to make 120, I really HOPE they do not take all night! :( But.. its fun girl bonding time! :)

Stress..

The stress has caught up to me. I started crying the other night because we had ants in our house.. Seriously ants.. I cried over that!!! :( I need a vacation.. like BAD!!!!

I have been SO busy!!!!

I have been on Summer Vacation for over a week now and have not slowed down yet. I want to just do nothing for one day and today may be it!!!!!

I have to really sit back and think about what I did each day last week.

Monday- My mom, grandmother and I went for my FINAL dress fitting!!! My dress looks awesome!!! It was funny. The alterations lady told me that I needed to take my dress of so they could hang it back up and I told her ,"No, Do I have to?". I am FOR SURE going to take my bridal pictures on June 23rd. So I made an appointment with the alterations department to have my dress pressed by then.
Tuesday- I clean the house ALL DAY!!!!! I didn't even get it all cleaned. I was EXHAUSTED by the end of that day!!!
Wednesday- I dropped off the school T-Shirt money to Stacey to make our school T-Shirts. Mom and I went shopping all day. We took some stuff back to the mall. I forgot what all we bought that day??? Oh, we bought new directors chairs for our classrooms next year!!!
Thursday- We stopped by Emma (my flower girl) house to let her try on her slip. The slip didn't work so after there we ran by the alteration lady to see if she could fix it. Then we went to the mall. I FINALLY found shoes for my wedding dress!!!!! They didn't have my size so they are being shipped to my house. They should be delivered by Monday! I bought Colton's Birthday present. I am sooooo excited for his party! I also bought: Fathers Day gifts, Mother In-Law to be gift, Emma's gift.
Friday- Shopping AGAIN! We went to Ashton Gardens to measure the isle. I am sooo glad we went. Anther bride had already decorated the recption hall for her wedding and I got some GOOD IDEAS!!!!
The plan for Friday was to find CANDY! Well, we did not find any candy..... but I bought lots of stuff at SAMS!!!! HAHAHA... I also made my hair and makeup appoinment for my bridal pictures.
Saturday- James and I went to Diamond Cutter International!!! That place is AWESOME.. I highly recommend it if you are looking for ANY jewelery.. We found a ring James likes and we ordered it!!! YES!!!! Another thing checked off my list... We also went and priced Laminate floors.. Its going to be MEGA expensive but I think we are going to do it.. Our carpet is NASTY!!!!!
Sunday- Today we are taking James' dad out for his birthday!!!

I feel like I have accomplised a lot this week and my bank account feels like it too!!! EKKK..

Oh.. and in other news... We PICKED OUR FIRST DANCE SONG!!!!! I'm not letting that one leak.... You have to wait to see what it is.. :)

Last day of my 3rd year teaching!

Today is the last day of school! It's kinda bitter sweet... My kids are really good except for one exceptionally bad behavior problem which was moved out of room.... I am also sad because today is the last day Catherine will be my teaching partner!!! She is moving on to bigger and better things, but I am still going to be teaching..

Next year will be VERY different..
- We will have a NEW building
-I will not be in a completely closed classroom for the 1st time
-We have a new schedule
-I will me Mrs. Staats.!!!
- Catherine wont be my teaching partner (but Jessica will!! :)
-We start all over again with the kids. They are so helpless at the beginning of the year. They know how to do nothing...

But with all this new Its going to be a FRESH start.. So I'm excited and kinda nervous.

Tomorrow we have a teacher work day then its OFFICIALLY summer!! YAY!

Pancake mix... YUMMO

I mixed up some yummy homemade pancake mix (No- not Bisquick) for my lovely ladies at work. I wanted to surprise them with a little something for the summer.



Jessica and I also bought Catherine a little something. She is staying home next year to be with Colton... We are really going to miss her!!!
