Birthday weekend number 1!

I have to say the past 2 weeks have been GREAT. I started school this past week and this has been the best first week of school I have ever had... By Friday my kids seems to have grasped the concept of our routines..

This weekend was number 1 of my Birthday Day Celebrations! Next weekend will be Birthday Celebration number 2... Why? We are off school Monday and beacuse I say SO! haha ( My actual Birthday is Tuesday)

This weekend James and I relaxed a lot and it was AWESOME. Saturday we went shopping and I couldn't find anything! I really dont like the style of clothes out right now... Who decided plaid was cute? It remindes me of Al Borland from Home Imporvment! LOL I did buy 2 headbands lol... Then we went to Ikea to find me a new desk but they were so expensive for a cheap little desk so I passed.. Saturday night we ate dinner with my Dad and Step mom at Taste of Texas and it was YUMMO!! I forgot to take pictures tho :(

Today we went to my Grandparents house and ate homemade enchladas they were YUMMY!!! Here are some pictures.. ( No we didnt all plan to wear black and white.. its just the "in" colors right now lol) :)

I got this GRAND outfit at Target in the dollar section... She took off her tu-tu and her bow but she still has on her shirt... James said we really need to have a baby so I stop dressing up the dog. LOL.

Yummy Pizza!

I made this amazing pizza tonight.. You HAVE to make it. It was SO easy! I would of taken a picture of it but we ate it already! LOL

Ingredients:

pizza dough (I use the pizza dough from Pillsbury in the can)

BBQ sauce (use your family's favorite)

Red Onion, thinly chopped

Cilantro, chopped

Mozerella Cheese, grated

Shredded Chicken (pre-cooked if you like it.. i dont)

Directions:

I don't use measurements for this recipe, I just eyeball the whole thing. If you like a lot of cheese or a little sauce, whatever your preferences, make it to suit you!

Spray your cookie sheet before placing the dough on there or it will never come off in one piece. Pour some BBQ sauce on and spread it around with the back of a spoon, add some chopped cilantro, thinly sliced red onion, sprinkle on your shredded chicken, and then your mozerella cheese. (I like to put the cheese on last because it holds everything else on the pizza when you eat it). Bake it in the oven per dough instructions.

Serve with a green salad and enjoy!

It SO yummy and it has to be better for you than Pizza Hut!!!

organizing!

Laurne's shower inspired me to re-organize our pantry. Yesterday before the gym I ran to Target and Bed Bath and Bedyond and bought some jars. I was SUPER excited because I found jars that go with our food saver machine! These to be exact... Arent they cool?
So, I got to work. Re-Organizing and moving stuff around..throwing stuff away. After I was done I have 2 BIG garbage sacks of trash. This was the final product!
I LOVE my new jars. I have to teach my hubs how to use the machine or everything will go stale.. he he he...

I love 22!!!

We have been married for 22 days!!! I love the number 22 so I can tell today is going to be a GREAT day!!

So, James and I are still going to the gym. I have not lost any weight. I just keep telling myself I am gaining muscle, that's why I'm not loosing weight. My goal is to keep going to the gym at least 3 days a week once school starts. That goal is going to be VERY hard to keep because I am SO exhausted at the beginning o the school year, but I CAN DO IT!!

This is my last week of summer and I have TONS of stuff to do!

My best friend ((and Maid and Honor at my wedding)) is getting married in September. Yesterday was one of Lauren's showers. It was SO much fun!!!We payed games, ate lots of food and talked. Here are some pictures:

On with the new..

James started his new job and he is really enjoying it so far... I also like it to because we are seeing a steady (salary) pay check! I am trying to get my self syked to go back to school without my partner :(. Everything is new again this school year.. New building, new partner, new curriculum, new grading rubric, new kids, new name, new classroom (open classroom :(, new grading peroid ( ever 9 weeks now)....Oh and SO muh more!! Oh well I LOVE change right?! :)

1 month!

1 more month until my Birthday! I don't know why I am so excited, 26 is nothing special.. but I guess its because its my first birthday as a married woman! :) Now I need to figure out what I want.. HUM.. Any ideas?
