Crawling..not so much

Jackson wants to move.

He loves being with mommy, daddy or Bella...but he still hates being on his belly.

The other day I snapped a few pictures while he was playing

 I put him on his belly....

 within minutes he gave me the "ummmmm mom you know I hate this",  squinty eye look.

 After a few minutes he gives up and just lays down.

 Oh the sweetness of that face. It melts my heart.

 

 After a few minutes of just hanging out on his belly. He plays with Bella, on his belly still of course.

 Then he gets mad!

 "You mean you want me to try and crawl? Yeah right mom!!!" Faceplant

 So, we sat up and played.....

 and all was well

.

Goodbye Apnea monitor

1 major step happened...

Goodbye apnea monitor.

If you remember the monitor had a thick cord that went from Jackson to the box which showed us his heart rate and breathing.

One night I woke up. Groggy, I looked down and his head was near the cord!  After the second time of this happening it was time to take the monitor off him. His safety was  more important then having him on that monitor. Now he is a 360 king!

Ever since we have been using the angel care monitor. I have to say it took a while for me to get used to it. It's a great monitor but it took me a while to adjust from the apnea monitor to the angel care.   Something is wrong with our parent unit and it needs to be fixed but overall I like it.

Jackson has been off the apnea monitor for a week. Yesterday I took major step number 2 and called the monitoring company and told them to come pick up the apnea monitor. I feel like I don't need it anymore. I feel like he is going to be ok. I can do this...just 1 step at a time.

Next step...Move him to his room.

Christmas 2012

What an amazing Christmas we had!It was so great to spend time with family. Jackson made this Christmas one to remember. He is such a good little boy! We all love him to pieces!

Christmas Eve we went over to my moms house. Jackson was the star of the show! He was loved on by everyone.

 It was pretty warm at the start of the day, so no pants were needed!

 We took a few family pictures but Jackson was way to interested in chewing his hands!

 Daddy helped Jackson open gifts. Jackson was more interested in trying to eat the paper then the actual gift.

After gifts it was time for a quick nap in daddy's lap

After we left my moms we went over to my grandparents house. It was pretty late by then so I unfortunately do not have any pictures.The kids opened way to many gifts and the adults played white elephant. We had a blast!

We got home at 10:30 and Jackson was still up! We changed him and gave him a bottle and he went straight to bed!

Christmas morning James was so excited. He woke Jackson and I up at 5:30! Jackson wanted nothing to do with it. He was cranky for a while until he really woke up!

 After opening gifts we headed over to James parents house.

 Jackson was loved on some more and he got way to many gifts!

 We had an amazing Christmas! It was simply perfect! Jackson brought so much joy to our day!
