Jackson's First Birthday Bash!

Wow! What an amazing celebration we had!

Jackson had a GREAT day and he was SO happy!

I tried to snap some pictures but I was really busy partying and having a great time! So, not many pictures were taken.

But, here they are....Jackson's Very hungry Caterpillar Birthday Bash!!

Birthday celebrations

I can not believe Jackson is 1!

1 sounds so old, so grown up! He will always be a baby to me!

Yesterday we got up and I made him Jackson a birthday pancake!

He was way more interested in the candle then actually eating the pancake.

We met James for lunch to celebrate then we headed off  to get some party stuff!

After James and my mom got off of work we headed out for birthday ice cream!

Jackson LOVES ice cream so we knew this would be a big treat for him!

We all had a great day! Today we are getting ready for his party!!!

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! 

I can NOT believe you are a year old! I simply can not believe it! You have brought us much hope, love, laughter and memories. You are my miracle baby. You came, saved us, and brought sunshine back in our lives. We are SO blessed to have to you in our lives. I am SO lucky to say I have spent EVERY day with you! We love you SO very much!


You are such a sweet boy! You love mommy and daddy so much!

You are:
-wearing 18 month clothes
-size 4 diapers
-weigh around 24 pounds
-around 29 1/8 inches tall
-have 6 teeth (your working on 7)
- drink only 2 bottles a day (morning and night)  ONE bottle a day (night time)

- drink big boy milk out of your cup for breakfast and lunch
-eat 3 real meals a day
-Did I mention you love to eat?
-Your favorite foods are: EVERYTHING!! You really love all foods. You REALLY REALLY love ice cream, and blueberries!
- sleep all night. You usually go to bed around 7:30 and sleep until 6:00-7:00am
-favorite toys are: the remote, mommies cell phone ( all those things you are not supposed to have), your jumper, your ride along dog, penguin, your bath tub boat, wheelie turtle, and computer!
-daddy can always make you laugh
-still look JUST like daddy!
- are crawling (hop crawling), and its so cute!
-are trying to pull up. You pulled up to standing by your self two days ago!! 
-are standing really good when you are holding on to something!
-LOVE the bath!
-LOVE hanging upside down!
-LOVE Bella, but sometimes she really doesn't like you!
-only took 11 months but you finally let us rock you to sleep!
-like peek-a-boo and being chased
-say mama, dada, more, ball (all) , dog (og)  and good (goo).
-you love opening and shutting drawers and doors. You were very mad when we put locks on the cabinets. You are into everything!!!
-You do not sit still and play for long. You are always crawling around trying to find something else to get into.


Here we go.... Let's watch you grow over the past year. I love you baby!

Go Jackson Go!

Yesterday Jackson pulled up to standing on his own! This is another MAJOR milestone!

He has done this before with a lot of help, but never on his own.

I wanted a picture of it so bad but I was right behind him making sure he didn't fall!

I cant WAIT to tell his pt about it!!!

What a great thing to celebrate just 1 day before his birthday!!!

Maddiegirl came to visit again

Yesterday I was making Mother's Day crafts with Jackson. I went into the garage to grab some painters tape. When I looked at the box of tape there was a little ladybug sitting right on it. I tried to take a picture but my phone was full (it's always full of pictures).

It was just perfect! Maddiegirl made my day! She wanted to help me make some Mother's Day crafts!

Two nights ago James turned off the TV in the living room and hopped in the shower. While he was showering I heard something but I wasn't going to get up and check it out! So, after James got out of the shower I asked him to go look. He walked into the living room and the TV was back on! I guess Maddie wasn't done watching her show. James told her it was bed time and to go watch over her brother.

I am so glad Maddie has been visiting us. I have been missing her so much more lately. I hope she sends us a big sign on Jackson's birthday that she is there and partying right along with us!
