Maddie looked so beautiful. We are so lucky we got to see our angel tonight. She was in her pretty pink fancy dress her Nana bought her. She had on her white headband with a black flower with polka dots on it. I can not even describe how beautiful she is. James and I have one beautiful angel watching over us.
I could not stop starring at her. I always loved just looking at her....today was no different.
My brother put together a slide show with some of the pictures we took of Maddie in the 4 short months she was here. He did such a great job. I know it was so hard for him to put it together. It really meant a lot to have it.
I am so glad I took so many pictures of Maddie. We have so many great memories of her. I will cherish those pictures and memories forever.
Tomorrow morning we will put our sweet Maddie to rest.
Please remember to wear bows for Maddie tomorrow.

( I want everyone to know. I am reading every comment. I may not respond right now...but I am reading all of them. Thanks so much for all the support.)

Dear Lord-
Please wrap your loving arms around Kellie and James as they endure this incredible loss. You know the pain they are feeling and you know what they need. I pray you will give peace and comfort abundantly and show them love in ways they have never known. Be with them as they grieve, and please Lord, bar Satan from this family.
In your name I pray, Amen
I continue to think of you and pray for you.
Sweetie, my prayers are for you and your family. Treasure the memories you have of your sweet beautiful Maddie. I am so sorry that you are going through this. Each picture reminds me of my son (3 months) and my heart is broken.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers and I know God will get you through this. My daughter and I will both wear bows on behalf of your beautiful little Angel baby, Maddie. Stay strong and know you are so loved by even strangers, my heart aches for you and your family.

I'm an August BBC Mama and I came across your post. I think that when we become mamas, we become mamas to more than just our babies. We hurt for other babies just as we hurt for our own. My heart breaks for you and your Family! I know nothing I say will take the pain away but just know I'm lifting you guys up in prayer! I hope you can seek comfort in the memories you all too short time you spent with your special little princess! Be easy on yourself and allow yourself to grieve as long as you need too. I'm praying the lord wraps his arms around you and surrounds you with Maddies love! (((Hugs)))
Both my girls will wear bows for you in honor of Maddie. I am from the Nov. board and I am sitting here hugging my baby tight crying my eyes out. I am so very sorry for your loss, I cant immagine what your family is going through and I will keep you in my prayers. No mother should have to go through this and I am so very sorry.
My heart is broken for you and the loss of your precious daughter! I have no words. I am praying for you
I just found your story through Facebook...
Tonight my heart hurts for you & your family. I just joined the ACPCG (http://www.acpcg.org/) organization.
A non-profit, volunteer based organization of child photographers from all over the country who have come together to form a guild dedicated to children in need and their families.
...after reading your story...I KNOW in my heart this is what I need to do.
I am truly sorry for your lose, one mother to another. We just lost my baby cousin from Lymphoma and this isn't the way life is supposed to work. Tonight I pray. I will pray for you and your family.

You are so strong. Both of you. Just know my thoughts and prayers are with you. I think about you and your family all day. I rejoice in the fact that in due time, you will all be together in eternity and all the pain and hurt won't even be a memory. Hold on tight to that.
Dear Maddie's Mommy,
I don't know you and you don't know me but I can't stop crying from reading about your little girl. I am so sorry for your loss. I have no idea how you are making it day by day. I am praying for you! I am praying for your husband! I am praying for your whole family!! What a beautiful little angel Maddie was while she was here with you. But she is not gone forever. You will get to see that precious daughter of yours again when you meet her in Heaven. She is in the prescense of Jesus. And we can't understand how wonderful that is. Much love and prayers being sent you!!
-Sallie in Texas
Im sorry from the depths of my heart for the loss of your beautiful girl, I also lost a child, he was 14 weeks old, it has been 3 years and Im still healing, I now have a baby girl and I and her will both wear a HUGE bow for beautiful Maddie who God felt was much too good for this earth. My prayers are with you and your family as tomorrow you face a day that nothing prepares you for. If I can help you in any way please let me know. Feel free to email me ANYTIME danae.waggoner@yahoo.com
Reading through this brought many tears to my eyes. How can you tell someone you just met 4 short months earlier goodbye? I could not and I know its going to be tough for you and your family. Just know Maddie is looking after you and is in a better place where there is no pain, only joy. I know tomorrow is going to be extremely tough, but with the grace of god may you find peace. I am so sorry for your loss and hope you can find peace.
I came across this as a friend of mine posted it on their facebook. My husband and I just lost our 7 month old baby girl a little over 3weeks ago. I have been praying I would come across someone to possibly email that was going through a simliar situation and I believe God has brought me to you. You have inspired me to start a blogg about my beautiful angel, her name is Morgan. I will be praying for you and your family as I know exactly what you are going through. tiffany
God bless you.
God Bless you and your family and your precious angel.
I am completely heartbroken for your loss, and at the same time, praising our Heavenly Father that she will spend eternity with him because of her sweet innocence. I pray HIS comfort to you and your family during this time, and that it can draw you closer to Him, and be a witness to others around you of God's love in your life. I myself have 3 little girls, and will be sure to put their biggest bows in tomorrow in remembrance of sweet Maddie......
My heart hurts for you and your family...i will have my bow on tomorrow for your precious little angel...she is a beautiful baby and your story touched my heart and made me more appreciative of the good things i have going for me...i will say a prayer for all of you...god bless.
I am so sorry for your loss, and I know that words do not help a bit but I really wanted to let you know I am praying for you and your family... I know Maddie is in heaven wearing a pretty bow and wanting her mommy and daddy to be happy =)
I have a baby boy, but will be watching my new baby cousin tomorrow and I will definitely have the biggest bow she owns on her little head in memory of Maddie. God be with you all.
I found your blog through a link on FB. My heart aches for you and your family. My girls will be wearing bows in memory of your daughter tomorrow. May you find strength in God.
Prayers from El Campo, Texas
I am so sorry. My heart breaks for you both.
My heart is completely broken for you and your husband. I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I can't begin to imagine the pain you are feeling. Your maddi was a gorgeous princess and I know her short little life was blessed by having you as her mommy. I can honestly feel a glimpse of how much love you gave her. I don't have a little girl but if I have one someday I know that when I put a bow in her hair I will think of your beautiful angel. I am praying for you and your family. Praying that God will hold each of you in his arms tomorrow. Your beautiful girl was only 4 months old and there are so many people who are going to see a bow and think of her from now on. She was beautiful and will never be forgotten!

I can't imagine your pain and loss right now. Like many others, I found your blog through Facebook. I am praying for you and your husband and the rest of your family as you have to say goodbye to precious Maddie. She was obviously a very loved and cherished little girl. May the angels hold her close.
Maddie must have chosen you to be her mommy because of your amazing strength and grace, knowing what you would have to face in accompanying her on her short but meaningful journey in this world. We will be wearing our bows in honor of your beautiful girl!
You are in our prayers.
Robin and Genevieve
We don't know each other; I found your blog through a friend. I am so sorry for the loss of your little girl. She was so beautiful & I can tell she was the light of your life. I can't imagine what you, your husband, & extended family are going through right now. My prayers & love are going out to all of you. No parent should ever have to go through that. (((((HUGE HUGS)))))

I ran across your blog just by chance and i am so glad i did.. I had a brother that passed away when he was 4 1/2 months old. it was an awful time for my parents.. just remember to keep her memory alive. God has different plans for everyone and i guess he just needed another happy healthy baby in heaven. hopefully you will get blessed with another one.
one thing my parents and i do every year on my brothers birthday is go out to his gravesite and send him a balloon. it makes me feel so good. maybe you can do it too!
i will be thinking about you and your family and praying for you
I too came across your blog from a friend of mine that asked if our daughters would wear a bow for Maddie. As a mother of four daughters, I can not even begin to imagine the flood of emotions that you must be experiencing. My heartfelt prayers are with you. Hold on to the memories and they will pull you through. You will be with her again one day. I lost a child myself and every year at Christmas I hang an ornament that was for him. I find peace knowing that I will again have my someday with him. GOD bless you.
I also found this from facebook. I have only boys, but I will see if I have a bow for myself to wear! I am a teacher too, who just returned to work. I have a boy turning 3 months on Sat. And one about about to be 18 months. I am so heartbroken for you. I can't imagine all the things to are describing, to prepare for your day tomorrow. I hope you can find a hint of peace or comfort.
I know that I will be less frustrated with my boys and give them extra hugs as I think of our sweet angel. I will live each moment with them with more purpose.
Praying for you.
i've been sitting here staring at this comment box, typing, erasing and typing again trying to think of the RIGHT words to say. and i can't. i can't begin to imagine what you are going through right now, i know that the pain i'm feeling FOR you doesn't compare to the pain you're feeling. i know that we have never met, but as a mother to an infant myself my heart is absolutely broken for you, your husband and your family. praying for strength for all of you tomorrow as you say your goodbyes to sweet Maddie. i know she will be watching over you from Heaven and will be there with you to comfort you tomorrow. my little girl will be wearing a big bown in her honor.
Kells, me and my girls will have bows and flowers on for Maddie tomorrow. I knew she would be beautiful.. she always has been, always will be your beautiful angel.
I am still praying for your strength in the months and years to come. Having all those precious memories of her caught on camera is a precious gift. I'm glad you will have that to teasure with her memory.
♥AnneMarie/dragondreamer
I am truly sorry for the loss of your precious baby. As a mother I cannot imagine the pain and confusion you are feeling right now. It is so hard to understand why God would choose to take such a sweet life so soon but find comfort in knowing that one day it will all make sense. He had a purpose for her life. I am praying for you guys, for strength for tomorrow. I am praying that you will feel God's arms wrapped around you and that he will feel your hearts with peace that only he can provide.
I am so sorry for you loss. You and your family are in are in our prayers. My the Lord Bless you in more ways then one. Stay strong and keep talking to your Princess Maddie.
Your sweet angel is with god now, We will pray for your family and my girls will be sporting big bows for Maddie tomorrow. I am the mother of 4 children. Blessings to you. If you would like to talk please feel free to contact me anytime. Tinylovecreations@yahoo.com
My heart is broken for you Kellie. There are just no words. You guys have been continuously on my mind over the last few days and will be in my prayers in the days ahead. I will wear my bow tomorrow for your sweet angel.
I ran across your blog through facebook. As I started to read the tears came rolling down I cannot imagine the pain that you and your family must be feeling. I have two girls and I cant imagine losing one I dont think I could cope or be as strong as you. You and your family will be in my prayers for God to continue to give you the strength you need to get through this difficult time you are facing now. We will all 3 be wearing bows tomorrow in honor of your sweet angel. May God comfort and bless you
I am so incredibly sorry your loss. You have my deepest sympathies, thoughts, hugs, and prayers. If I had a little girl she would be wearing the biggest pink bow I could find. I will make sure to wear a bow of some kind for her and I will also wear pink as that was her favorite color. May GOD be with you as you deal with something that no parent should ever have to do. Love, Mandy
I'm just so sorry. I wish I had words to make it better. She is so beautiful. I'm sending you lots and lots of love and will always remember your sweet little girl.

Maddie clearly gets her beauty from her parents. Continuing prayers from Wisconsin!
She is so perfectly beautiful. That's one beautiful Angel you have watching over you and with you all the time! Although you may never understand the reason you just have to know that God has much better plans than we can ever imagine. He is a God of love. I am praying for strength to endure this difficult time and God speed in healing your broken heart. Since hearing your story, my heart has been broken too. I have posted on facebook asking for thousands of prayers for you too, so I hope you are feeling them!
All my love,
Kacey
You, James, & your entire family are in my prayers. God works in ways we sometimes cannot explain...your sweet beautiful baby Maddie is now one of his angels! I wish I was there just to give you a hug....xoxo
Your strength is beyond inspirational.
My heart is just broken for you, and I think I can speak for all of us when I say, if there's anything anyone can do, don't hesitate for a second to ask.
I'll be thinking of your family tomorrow, and I think it's safe to say a special place in my heart has been reserved for your family and especially your Maddie.
Lots of love and prayers.
I too found your blog through one of your many facebook supporters and although I am crying and my heart is breaking for you I am glad I can share in honoring your beautiful daughter. My daughter Melissa will wear a bow to honor beautiful little Maddie. You are in our thoughts and prayers as is your little angel. xoxoxoxoxoxo

I am from the July 2010 BBC Birth Club. I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful princess Maddie. I cannot even imagine the pain your family is in right now. Please know that I am keeping you in my thoughts during this difficult time.
Colleen
I saw a post on BBC and clicked over to your blog. My heart aches for you. I am so sorry. Your little girl is beautiful and I can't imagine how much you miss her. Know there is another mommy thinking of you all tonight.
I know it's not much, but hopefully it will spread the word and bring a little joy to you. I'm doing a post on Maddie on my blog tonight and asking everyone with girls to please put a bow on tomorrow. All my love to you!
Right now it seems like the world has stopped, but trust me the world will begin to be normal again. On March 2nd my little angel in Heaven would have been 4. All I can offer you is prayers for strength that the next few months fly by because they are the hardest. I am very sorry for your loss.
I am devastated to hear your story. I wish I could make this all go away for you. I was exactly where you were on January 7, 2010. My 5.5 month old little boy stopped breathing at daycare and passed away but we didnt know it until we arrived at the hospital and they took us that horrible little room. I too walked into my house to see all my baby boys toys and couldnt comprehend him not being there. It is the worst pain in the world and all you can do is rely on your friends and family to get through it. I now have a 4 month old son same as your gorgeous little girl. You will always have an empty feeling in your heart but no matter what it will be worth every moment you got to have and enjoy with your baby girl. She has changed so many lives in the short time she was alive and already made the world a better place.
I've sat here for 10 minutes trying to find the words to say... no words can take away the pain of losing your baby. Your princess. All I can do is pray for you. I'll pray HARD. I can't imagine what you and your family are going through. My heart aches for you. I am so sorry. SO sorry for your loss and your pain. We will be praying for you. God bless you and your family. Sending love and strength to you and your family.
Ah, I am so sorry! I wish there were words!
Hang on and love each other.
You are so strong. I can't imagine. Many more blessings will come your way...especially with that PERFECT lil angel watching out for you;))
I can't begin to imagine the pain that your heart is feeling right now. They say that time heals all wounds, but even I know those words don't mean a thing right now and they probably won't for a while. My heart is aching right now for you and your family. As I read your posts, I sit quietly as tears filling up my eyes, not just because I am sad for you and your family, but because my baby girl is sleeping in the room right next to me and I couldn't imagine my life without her. Tomorrow my sweet Addie will wear the biggest bow she has in honor of Maddie.
I'm sorry!
My daughter will be wearing a bow for Maddie tomorrow.
I found your blog on Facebook. My first daughter was born oct 27th. Tomorrow we will wear our big pink bow for Maddie, and I will be praying for you and your entire family. I know there's nothing I can say, so I will just leave it to God.
I am so sorry for your loss and I will be praying for you and your family tomorrow! I don't have a daughter but I am looking for a bow for me to wear tomorrow in honor of your beautiful daughter.
I pray that God will hold you in his arms and comfort you tomorrow and the days to come. God Bless!
Beth
I am so sorry for your loss. I know that words cannot say or heal the wounds deep in your heart, but i want you to know that both of my little girls will be wearing big pink bows tomorrow.
I am sending my prayers out to you and your family .
-Olivia, Mylah and Alessandra
I want you to know that although I can never know the exact feeling you are feeling I went thru the loss of a friends 3 month old to SIDS almost a year ago. I sit here in tears knowing the pain, sorrow and questioning you are facing. I, of course, do not know your faith, but please know that it is okay to be angry with God, it's okay to get real with Him and tell Him how mad you are, how bad it hurts and that you just don't get it. It's what He wants. He wants us to be real with Him. I have two girls and they will both wear bows for Maddie tomorrow. I will think of you often tomorrow as I can only imagine the peace you need in your heart.
Megan
My prayers are with your family. I hope these words can offer a little comfort. God bless you!
My dear little baby, you were taken so soon
Between the setting of the sun and the rising of the moon
You were a little flower who never had the chance to grow
And without you I’m left wondering why I have to let you go
I mourn your last breath while reminiscing your first
Why did this happen? Why am I so cursed?
But I know just to have a few months was worthwhile
A few months to hold you—to see your sweet smile
It seems like just yesterday I first heard you cry
I never thought a day would come when I’d have to say goodbye
Although years may lie between us, I’ll find you waiting there
Until then, my sweet angel, I’ll talk to you through prayer
Please know I'll be praying for you & your family. I cannot even imagine the pain and heartache you have been experiencing. I saw your blog info on FF Nov 2010, please know that so many people are thinking of you. Maddie is so lucky to have you and James as parents. Keep your love strong and lean on each other. If I could get away with putting a bow in my son's hair, I would... sending prayers & love your way.
Heidi
I am so sorry for your loss i know you keep getting that. I lost my little brother shortly after he was born, but he still has a purpouse of watching over us. I admire your strength i don't know what i would do if i lost my son. Since i dont have a little girl i will make me a bow to wear in honor of Maddie.
I found your blog through my friend and although I may not know you personally, as a mother of 3 I cannot fathom your loss. I am truly heartbroken for you and your family during your time of loss, but I am rejoicing in knowing that she is resting in her Heavenly Father's arms waiting anxiously for your arrival in which you will hold her and love on her again, when our maker chooses to unlift the veil. Until then, know that we are all praying for you and your family, that God give you comfort, peace and understanding.
P.S. In honor of you precious angel, Maddie, my daughter will too be wearing a bow in her hair.
Ashley Parrish
I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. I am saying prayers to get you through tomorrow. Sending my love and support from WA state.
I just happened to come across your blog from a post on Babycenter and happened to read it. I too am so sorry for your loss, I know she was a special baby and loved very much by her parents though-I can just tell. She knows she is loved in heaven too:) I have a boy but will wear a flower in my hair for your baby girl...she is gorgeous too.
God bless you during this hard time
I am a mother of 5 children and I can not image your pain..my heeart aches for you and your family...I hope for you to find some comfort in your love one's around you...thank you for sharing your story and I will have my girls wear a bow for your MADDIE :-(
I am sorry you know the sadness that none of us parents should ever have to feel the loss of a child. If I had a daughter here, I would put a bow on her in honor of your precious angel Maddie, but she is also in heaven with her, I am sure with a fancy bow to celebrate her specialness. In tears I tell you with time you will find a new normal. That you can do many special loving things that touch many hearts, your blog alone sharing your feelings I promise you has saved at least one child, there is at least one mom or dad reading it as I have received notes in the past for doing the same, the man told me, I was screaming at my daughter for something stupid earlier, now she is on my lap and I promise to be a better dad, so I agree in her too short time here, she will make a grand difference more than some do in a long lifetime. I pray for you the strength to choose life, and to have the caring support needed to deal with your grief. I was a nanny for a precious 4 yr old now she is, and I am going to visit with her Friday and give her a new pretty fancy bow and give her an extra big hug and somehow I hope you feel the love and caring that surrounds you during this difficult time and that you know you are not alone, and others do care!!!! Take care and many blessings, dawn g
Angels, hugs and kisses from australia. What an amazing story. So heartbreaking and hard, but thank you for sharing it. Sometimes we are so blinded to the 'real world'.
Maddies life had a purpose. It takes us so long to form relationships and grow love for people. Our husbands, our friends. But a child is instant love. Her purpose was to show you the insane amount of love you can have for someone.
I wish you and your family all the peace in the world.
xx
I am very sorry for your loss. Me and my wife will make sure our little girl Kayla wears a bow in her hair for Maddie. My prayers will go out for you.
I am from BBC and heard about precious Maddie. I fell in love with her just through your words and can not imagine the courage you must have to go on with your life, to even be able to sit and write the words you do not want to see.
I will smother my children with kisses tomorrow, in honor of Maddie. I will put a big bow on my daughter and I will be thinking of you and your family every second tomorrow as well.
You are such a strong woman, Maddie was so lucky.
I've been reading your post and this is so heartbreaking! I cannot imagine what you all are going through.
I am in Okinawa, Japan and today is January 23 (we're 14 hours ahead or EST) and I wanted to let you know my little girl has been wearing a large Okinawan bow all day for beautiful Maddie, and will tomorrow as well (to cover the 23rd on your side of the world as well). Praying for strength and God's peace for you all.
i want you to know how very very sorry that I am for your loss. I want you to know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and my prayers!
Tracy
My heart breaks for you tonight after coming across your post on Facebook. I lost twins, 6 weeks apart. We had two funerals. I didn't have the strength to make the arrangements. I did see the second, Trevor, at the funeral home and I now regret not insisting on seeing my first, Ty. I have been through all that you are going through now. I had to go buy a dress and choose the songs. I spent time in that awful hospital room that only those of us who grieve have seen.
You will never be the same person you were before, but you will start to heal. It has been nearly 4 years for me and I still have my days that I ask why and get angry. I don't think a day goes by that I don't miss them. However, the pain is worth the short time I got to be their mommy. It is so helpful to talk to others that have been where you are. You will probably find that the love of your family and friends is wonderful, but you still need to talk to someone that knows exactly how much it hurts.
I send prayers to you tonight as you prepare for tomorrow. I hope you will find comfort and peace.
God bless you and your sweet family. I will definitely be keeping you in my prayers from here on out. It is so unfair, and so hard, but keep faith in God. Your beautiful angel is watching over you from above. My girl will definitely be wearing a pink bow tomorrow. Hugs.....
She really is so very beautiful. We are keeping you and your family in our thoughts and our prayers. I will wear a pink bow in remembrance of your little girl tomorrow.
I am crying as I'm reading your blog, and still crying as I'm writing this. My heart breaks for you because I've been where you are. I lost my little angel at 5 months. I have been through the shock and devastation and confusion, the nights spent crying yourself to sleep, holding tightly to a soft little pink blanket, then waking up and spending the day in a complete fog. I've been to that place where it almost feels like I may go to hell if I start packing things away too early. Nightmare after nightmare, I'm not sure how I'm still alive. I may have said "I" a lot, but it's just to let you know that you are not alone. Although I don't know your name or where you are in the world right now, you and I are connected through our heartbreak. I don't even know who you are but I love you for your strength and courage because I know how hard it is to keep yourself standing upright. I have another child, she is now 3 years old, and she will be wearing her biggest and prettiest bow tomorrow. She will wear it for your angel Maddie and my angel Mia. Not a second will go by tomorrow where I won't be thinking of you.
I am so sorry for your loss. My girls will all be wearing bows tomorrow and I posted your link on my fan page. I own a Childrens Boutique and we specialize in hair accessories. www.facebook.com/JCPretties

http://www.iamtheface.org/
My heart aches for you. I cannot begin to imagine the pain you are in. God never makes mistakes, there is a reason he took her now. We may never know the answer, but you must thank him for the time you shared with her, although it was short. Praying for you and your family in KY.
Maddie had a beutiful Mommy. As I read your blog posts my heart began to greive for you and your husband. This month last year we lost a precious 4 day old boy in our family.
The days ahead will be hard and honestly, time does not heal all things, but Jesus can. Gods word tells us that his mercies are new each morning. Hold on to that. Cling to your husband and know that you 2 won't grieve iin the same way and that is okay. I know that you will greive and youu should for there is a time for everything under the sun, but I praise our God that you do not have to greive without hope!
Losing our babies here on earth just reminds me of how much we desperately need our God. The only thing I can sayl is be in Gods word daily because it is in Him that you will heal and grow.
Jesus is righteous and Praise God that he will be glorified, even in this.
My son will be wearing a pink bow tie for you tomorrow! And you will be in my and my husbands prayers all day.
In Him, Tiffany Kampmann

I am praying for your comfort... and peace. I am praying for extra grace.
It's ok to be mad...sad... and mad and sad all over again and again. Cry out to Jesus. I don't know your faith but I know in times like these it is so very hard to want to pray. He understands....He even understands your anger.
Maddie is in the arms of our Saviour... what a wonderfully safe place to be.
As often as I see pink or bows tomorrow and for days to come I will lift you up in prayer!!
~Ashley

I am so sorry for your loss. I, too, found your blog on facebook. I have a little girl, and I can not imagine what you are going through. I sat crying as I read about your beautiful angel. I was reminded of a book I read when I was younger. It is called Angel Unaware by Dale Evans Rogers. I urge you to read it, it is a beautiful amazing story. I am praying so hard for you and your family. I know that no words will even begin to take your pain away.
Tomorrow, my Abbie will wear a big bow in honor of your Maddie. I pray that peace will be with you all.

May peace come over you tomorrow. My heart breaks for you and your family. I know it is the hardest thing to do. My husband and i had to lay our little Sofia to rest the day after christmas in 2007. There is a lady named Laura on FB she made you a pink memorial bow in rememberance of your daughter. here is her link... please contact her.

First off I just want to say I am so sorry for your loss... This is a pain no one should ever have to feel, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I lost my first daughter in July 2009, and it was the absolute worst thing I have ever and probably will ever go through... I won't say I know exactly how you feel, I'm not you and people are different. But I have been through a similar situation. It's still hard at times to stay strong and I miss her every day, but 4 weeks ago I gave birth to a beautiful and perfect baby girl. I named her Ever Isabella. God gave me a second shot, and I honestly believe that when He thinks you're ready, you will get one too. I'm trying so hard not to cry writing this, but I wanted to share my story with you to reassure you that even when the absolute worst thing is happening to you, there's still hope for the future... I genuinely hope that things get better for you and your family, and I send prayers up to your beautiful angel, and to you as well.

Praying for you and your family as you put your beautiful little girl to rest today.
I am so sorry for your loss. I am at such a loss for words right now. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. May God wrap you in His arms and give you the peace and comfort that only He can give.
I promise to put a big bow on my daughter today.
I am so deeply sorry for your tragic loss. I am praying for your family to find some comfort in the impact that your little angel has had on complete strangers.
As a mother of 10 and 13 year old boys, I can not imagine the pain and sorrow you are feeling. My boys are my life, without them a big part of me would be missing as well. But I know that there is hope, in any situation, no matter how sad and unbearable. Jesus is my hope and he can be your's too. If you feel like reading anytime soon try reading the book of John in the Bible. I will be praying for you and your family to get through this the best you can. It will take time, but just lean on your memories of your baby. Praying for you today especially...
Thinking of you...
My heart goes out to you and your family.

I thought of you two all night. You are stronger then anyone I have ever met. I continue to pray for you and James each day. This is the prayer I say..
God - please be with Kellie, James and their family as they journey without their much beloved baby girl Maddie. Be with them in this time of sorrow, guide them through the darkness of anger and despair, and remind them, through others around them, that You have not forsaken them, even though it may feel that way. Bless and keep all who mourn, that they may be comforted. Amen
Love you girl, I will be wearing the flower/bow I made yesterday and Connor his ribbon.

I am so very very very sorry for your loss. Words can't even describe how sorry I am for you, your family, your friends and everyone that had that time to meet and know little Maddie. I cried the entire way through your blog and also read a lot of the other notes from other people. There seems so many people have lost precious little babies. It overwhelms me as my own 6 1/2 month old daughter goes to daycare everyday as we both have to work. Each and every single day I pray that nothing ever ever happens to my children. I pray for God to give you all strengh. Thank you for sharing your story as we often don't stop and appreciate every moment we have with each other here on this earth. I'm left wondering what happened, or do they even know. My God, I wish I could just hug you and say sorry in person. Nothing like this should even happen.
XO

So very sorry to hear of your loss. No parent should ever have to go through what your family is going through. May God give your family strength at this time. We are praying for you here in Canada as well as my family on some boards I belong to and as a hairbow designer I am telling all my customers to wear the biggest bow they own in memory of your beautiful precious Maddie. May God bless you at this very difficult time. Both myself and my daughter will wear a bow in her memory.
Nancy (Ontario, Canada)
I hardly ever open the baby center community postings because I'm so busy in the morning but for some reason this morning I did. Words can't express how sorry I am that you are having to endure this. Maddie is a true angel. Our daughter wore a lavender bow in her hair this morning in Maddie's honor; i'm emailing you the picture. Prayers and hugs sent your way.
Praying for you! Father God, please heal these hearts. Please wrap your loving arms around this family and never let go! Please give them the peace to know that you are holding their child and loving her for them! Please, please bless this family! Amen
I am so sorry that you are going through this. No mother should ever have to go through this. She was too young. I've always believed that everything happens for a reason, but then things like this happen and I don't know what to make of it. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers today, which might be one of the hardest days of your life. I'm so sorry.
I am so sorry for your loss!! I can't imagine your pain. You & your family are in my thoughts & prayers! *hugs*

I am so so, so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what you are going through. I have had more than my fair share of pregnancy difficulties and losses, but my two little girls...I cannot imagine. I am so sorry. I have put bows in their hair to celebrate the life that was lost. Please, take solace in the fact that your blog is and will help others in similar situations. You and your husband are in our prayers.
I don't know you, however my heart breaks for you and your family. You have the sweetest angel looking over you for sure. I pray for a sense of peace for you today as you lay her to rest. She is in very good hands now and you will reunite with her again!! My daughter will be wearing a BIG bow today to remember your angel.

Kellie:
By no mistake my Addy is wearing a large orange bow in her hair today. I didn't stumble across your blog until this morning, but Addy has a big bright orange bow just for Maddie. I admire your faith and your strength. While so many would be cursing God, you are looking for the purpose. You are a remarkable woman!!!!!! I couldn't help but go back to the beginning of your blog and read about your proposal and my heart just aches even more for you! As a fellow teacher and mommy of an angel, I thank you for being so open and honest in your blog. Most people would retreat and keep it all in. ANd although it's hard either way, life is more bearable when you have love and support, and you my dear have love and support overflowing from friends and family and strangers across the world. May God bless you and keep you!
I found your blog through a post on facebook by glam girls bowtique. My heart breaks for you and your husband. Your baby is so beautiful. -Danielle (from PA)
A friend of mine wrote about you in her blog and that is how I ended up here. I posted a little something on my blog for Maddie. I will be sure to put my baby girl in a bow... even if it is only for a few moments (she isn't too fond of her BIG bow).
Praying for comfort, strength, and LOTS of love,
Meredith
Oh Kellie, I know you don't know me but I'm from TMP and my thoughts and prayers have been with you since last weekend... I know this is probably the hardest day of your life and I just want to express how truly sorry I am that you have to even experience this. My heart hurts for you and your husband and I pray that you find peace and strength through this.
My girls are wearing BIG bows today! :) I just want you to know that. I don't know you personally, but I have shed many tears for you. I posted this as my FB status today:
"For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come... Song of Solomon 2:11-12
Okay, wishful thinking...but so thankful for the promise of spring!"
Someone commented on my status (I posted a link to your blog yesterday) that this is a wonderful verse to post in honor of Maddie on Maddie's big bow day! So today, I dedicate that status to you, momma'. I am praying for ALL of you. I know when the flowers do begin to appear again, you will have many wonderful memories of a beautiful little angel named Maddie. We will plant a flower for her in our garden, too! Thinking of you today!
Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all today. I cannot even type this message without tears. My girls ages 10 and 12, proudly wore bows to school today in honor of Maddie. They also sent text messages to friends last night to do the same.
Although we did not know you or Maddie personally, please know she touched our lives.
May peace be with you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family....Maddie is an absolute gorgeous baby, and we are so heartbroken for your family.
When our daughter passed, this quote was shared with us, and I share it now with you.
A little flower lent not given, to bud on earth and bloom in heaven...
So many prayers for you all. We'll all be honoring Maddie today with bows, and prayers towards heaven.
My husband and I are going to start trying to have a baby in a few months and I came across your blog today and it broke my heart. I'm soooo very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you're going thru, as I'm sure no one can. Lean on each other and stay close through this. It can tear so many apart.
"Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow." anon
My heart is breaking for you and your family. I can't imagine the pain you must be going through. I am praying for you...you are such a strong woman. I have informed everyone on my Bowtique page to wear their biggest bows in honor of Maddie. My 3 girls will all be as well. I'm so truly sorry for you loss, no one should have to let go of a child :( Just know that everyone is here praying for you and holding you up.
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. My girls, ages 10 and 12 proudly wore bows in their hair today in honor of Maddie. They also texted their friends to do the same.

My heart aches for you and hopes that peace will find a way to help you through this time.
